Aaron Burr Reeve

Reeve was the only child of Tapping Reeve, the founder of Litchfield Law School, and his first wife Sally (Burr) Reeve. He was the nephew of Aaron Burr. After his admission to the bar, Reeve then went to Troy, NY where he worked as a lawyer. Reeve died at Troy, NY and his only son Tapping Burr Reeve was sent to be raised by his father Tapping Reeve.
