THE GILDED AGE RISES AGAIN IN OAKWOOD

With Kathryn Sheehan, Rensselaer County & Troy City Historian

Put on your top hat and cinch your corset as you join Kathryn Sheehan, Rensselaer County & Troy City Historian for a “The Gilded Age” walk through Oakwood. Kathryn will highlight the final resting places of Troy’s “old” and “new” moneyed residents that made their mark in Troy and Rensselaer County.

Kathryn will also share stories about the filming of the Gilded Age at Oakwood as well as in downtown Troy.

Our tour fee is $15/pp. Children under 12 are free.

Tours are limited to 25 people.

Tours meet at the flagpole near the 186 Oakwood Avenue entrance.

Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Tours take place rain or shine and will be cancelled in the event of thunderstorms.
